Life after couch to 5k? Laura 😏

Dreading graduating in some ways and it’s given me clear weekly goals to hit and with support of Laura etc has kept me focused. Really think would’ve thrown the towel in had it not been for this wonderful app. What apps do people now move onto? Maybe to achieve up to 10k etc? Something simple and preferably with a Laura!

I’m with you! Not sure that I’d be running 30 mins without the discipline of the app. And the foolish idea of letting Laura down by not turning up! Where do I go next weekend? I’ll graduate on Thursday! 😧😉

Have you had a look at the pinned post about what to do after graduation? It is very informative and helpful. Good luck :)

I graduated a few of weeks ago and downloaded 'Stepping Stones'- Laura again encouraging me to keep improving . Still running 3 times a week but not sure if will ever manage 5k in 30 mins. Its got to be better than sitting on the couch though and its definitley addictive

I graduated a couple of weeks ago, astounded myself by doing 5k in 33 mins and it's all been downhill (not literally) since then! To be fair I then went away for 10 days, had little sleep and lots of fun so my poor body took a bit of a battering. But I've found it quite dispiriting. I did stepping stones today. Had to walk a couple of times and I think I worked out that when I manage it I won't be any faster than I was (could be wrong) but it's something to aim for. I think the discipline will help get back on track. That and sleeping more!

The most important thing is to consolidate your 30 min runs for about 3 weeks before starting to run longer or further. I still used Jo Whiley’s W9 app for the first post grad week but then let her go . You can have fun running somewhere different and try hills 😬
