Im really getting the hang of this running in the rain thing, a bit tired around 20 mins bit managed to keep an even pace and finish the full 28 minutes.
I continue to be a bit gutted with this new Strava data I'm collecting. I know the Samsung Health distance is wrong and so is the pace but feeling a bit flat at just how sllloooowwwww Strava confirms I'm going. I know it's not about speed, it's just getting up to those 30min runs but I can't help be disappointed. I thought all along I was doing a decent pace. Now I'd be doing well to finish a 5k in an hour at my actual pace. I can't imagine ever halfing that time to a 30min 5k even if I keep running for 10 years!
Hoping to complete week 8 on Sunday in any case and then that's me down to the final week. Happy running folks

I felt the same but it WILL come. I thought it would be weeks before I did 5k, after graduating, at ANY speed. Then first run after graduation I did my first 5k!!! I went out just to run for 30 mins, listening to the Week9 podcast, and for to the end of the 30 min run and thought “ I want to keep going”
So i DID!! For another 10 minutes.
So it wasn’t the fastest 5k but pretty good I thought. And I’ve done a couple more since each a little bit faster. And I’ve even run for just under an hour too, without stopping to walk at all!!
Obviously there have been other, slower, shorter runs too but that’s life
