I was keen to get this run in before tomorrow's amber weather warning takes effect and despite the rain, absolutely loved it! Such a nice break from running late at night when shattered or dying from the heat this past few weeks. I had rain running down my face and mascara smeared everywhere, may even need an extra rest day to give my trainers time to dry out, absolutely soaked!
Such a nice change from last week which was a bit of a hard slog. I really enjoyed getting out there and lost in my own thoughts. I was even feeling brave enough to detour from my usual route half way through and survived the last 5 mins of my run up a hill I wasn't expecting!
Who am I and what has C25k done to me? Two months ago I'd have been curling up on the sofa with a book in that weather.

Well done - you’ll have to invest in some waterproof mascara! I was thinking it might rain but it held off, but was a lot cooler and windy. More pleasant than running in the heat. My ex used to love running in the rain (he hated being hot) - I thought he was barking but I get it a little bit now
I hate the rain usually but there was something very uplifting about plodding along at my own pace for 28mins carved out of my day that were just for me. Looked like an absolute mad woman/drowned rat though!
