I have managed to complete run 2 after a couple of attempts! I have had quite bad pins and needles in my left foot towards the end of the run. It goes after a couple of minutes walking. I thought it might be my shoes but have tried 2 pairs and the same thing happened. Any ideas?

Maybe the laces are too tight in your shoes. I had this for a while and it was because my laces were tied too tight. Of course this might not be your issue at all, but it is worth checking and is a very simple solution.

Good luck and well done on getting to week 8. You are almost finished!

It could definitely be the laces. I have mine quite loose except around the ankle, works for me. There are many ways of tying laces, google it . Good luck!

Thank you - I don’t think it is the laces - this was my first thought - but I’ll have another look!

Do you ever get lower back pain, especially around the hip / buttocks area? You may find it's to do with a sciatic nerve problem. I get similar issues with legs / feet quite frequently which seem to be related to sciatica.

One good stretch to practice regularly is the Supine Piriformis Stretch. It's described, more elegantly than I can, in the following link, which I hope works from this post!:

The are also some other useful stretches, but I find the first the simplest and most effective.

I hope you manage to resolve it soon!
