I advised someone else just about 10 minutes ago to run with the wind behind you, that way you could run whatever distance you intend to do in a very quick time, note what way the wind is blowing, it will probably be from west to east, try to get a straight road or path, with no bends in it and then RUN WITH THE WIND behind you.
I live on the west coast and run along the seafront, sounds like I might get a bit of a beating from the storm π― I'll give it a go, if I struggle I'll maybe postpone until the wind and rain calm down a bit.
As tempting as it is to delay my alarm, I think I'll still get up and give it a go. Might get out there and decide to postpone run, but at least I can say I tried π€£
I ran tonight in the pouring rain. I was the only person In the park. It was exhilarating - just me and the sound of the rain. You might enjoy it π
So after a night of very little sleep due to the wind, I've decided to postpone this morning's run, feel rubbish this morning so no point on trying to run in the strong winds
