To run or not to run in the wind in Storm Ali?

Can't decide if it is worth even trying to run in the crazy wind today or just to postpone my run until another day! What are everyone's thoughts? Have you been out running in the storm today? :)

I don't like running in wind. Rain I can handle, but wind is hard work ...

I’d be looking for a lull if I was running today, it’s not good out there

I went out on Monday and it was 50mph winds... Not much fun, probably will try and avoid that next time..!

Yeah I didn't enjoy walking in it earlier so I think running in it will be a bit too much of a challenge

Postponed mine due to the risk of flying debris. Better safe than sorry. See what tomorrow brings. What ever you decide, stay safe👍🏻

I’ve just done my week 4 run 3 in the storm. Not easy but I’d definitely recommend wearing sunglasses my eyes have so much stuff in now

I’ve just come back from my run and think it’s probably wiser to put it off. If you do go out wear some glasses to protect your eyes - I was so glad I had my glasses on rather than contacts as I was hit by an acorn in the eye!

I’ve just completed mine. Yeah, it’s a bit windy out there but the only time l postponed a run was due to black ice last winter. If we are looking for ideal conditions we may as well only run between May and September but even than some folks will complain about the heat. Unless it’s absolutely demonic out there, just go and run. ;)

Couldn't avoid it really, have to walk the dog in it everyday so I couldn't really excuse myself out of a run. Not much fun, but cant see things getting much better now the weather has turned anyway :(
