I have been progressing through the C25K app and had a very good week 5, started week 6 and said to myself don't get over confident ran at a steady pace.... but the whole thing was awful, managed to finish all the intervals but literally everything hurt! (more than usual by a long stretch).
Is this because of the big week completed for week 5, does it get any better through the week
Cheers

I to was warned by other posts regarding run 1 of week 6 which involved two 3 minute walks and went very carefully not to injure myself, yes it does get better with day 2 and 3, the third being a 25-minute run. When you have completed R3W6 they tell you that you are "officially a runner", once you hear that you will be very happy that you have succeeded with your running.
Glad i'm not on my own, I did read on here that it was a tough week and thought I had prepared for it by being as slow as I could but like I said everything hurt.
Biggest thing is not letting it put me off the next run, which is tomorrow, fingers crossed....
Yes, it will be good to see the end of the intervals as it will seem a sense of achievement in itself.
Like every other new week it is harder than the week before. Most of us get caught out as on paper the run/ walk looks easier than the long run we have just smashed. Although, the truth is the stop/start means you never settle into a rhythm, and your body is always in a state of playing catch up. Good cardio workout though, but not a fun run.
