Post run tired, and parts are creaking...

I did W4R3 yesterday. It went really well! Loved every minute of it. An hour later, I realized that I’m completely busted. Tired, cramping muscles, aching joints, ravenously hungry, and cranky. Still feeling the effects tonight. Lots and LOTS of fluids, electrolytes and two rest days for me, for sure. ❤️

Well done on completing your run. Poor you, it's not sounding good. Take care and enjoy your rest. Take as long as your body needs.

I'm no expert, but I always run with a water belt. It's nice to know that the water is there if I get overheated and need water. It's also nice to have on my cool down walk after my run.

Embrace your rest time with the sofa and a good book or movies.

Zikee water belt is brill... you can just take one of the small bottles for a very short run:)

Well done.... Are you warming up well?

The next question...are you moving slowly enough :) In these ear runs it is so important to take it slowly and steadily.

Also, make sure that your rest day exercise happens... you need to build up stamina and core strength alongside the building up of the running legs...

Make sure you do your post run stretches too.

Good hydration all the time will really help and just be kind to yourself :) Maybe check this post out too..

All good points! I am def slow - I couldn’t go any slower and still consider this running LOL But I do believe I am not doing my pre-and post stretches long enough, and I have been using my rest days to rest on my rump. I need to add in strength and stretching work. Thanks for the great advice and support!
