Lovely to set out thinking I was going to run a short run! But still went for 25 mins. Haven't run for a week as lots going on as soon as I started a massive smile appeared on my face. So for post graders who are lacking motivation just get on the gear and go. Knee still niggling but OK.
I am all confused about summer kit. I have some lovely winter clothes all in Jewel Winter colours ( purple turquoise royal blue fuchsia etc) and now am all a dither as I have no running summer wardrobe!! What do you all wear?XX
Its great that I started with a body I had all covered up in deepest darkest winter. Now waist is 2 inches smaller legs and far more toned and my body is coming out in the summer and metaphorically!
AliV, if your reading this hows it going? XX

Well done. I did my first post grad run today too. I just have a black running vest from m&s (with a pink stripe either side to match my running shoes , lol!) , black sports leggings from Next, and a black Adidas visor. Not exactly summery colours but won’t show any sweat patches 😳😂
Yes completely unless you have vv thin legs! . I have two boys and am in my 40s, still breastfeeding one so no sleep. Its been a major reason to run, to be able to keep up with them when older. X
I braved the bad weather in Lycra shorts and a quick dry t-shirt, on the basis it was easier to strip off afterwards! Some of the sideways rain was a bit stingy but shuffling past dog walkers covered head to toe in coats and hats was somehow very satisfying, especially as I smiled happily at them all! I am now benefitting from brown legs and arms and very happy to see the sun. I hate being cold but I was getting too hot on the longer runs so put up with the first miserable 10 minutes and I am glad I did. Go for it!
