Just come in from W6 R2, and my new Altra Paradigm 3 did not feel as shock absorbing as my old Sauconys. Anyone else have niggles getting used to new shoes?

Almost always. I suggest keeping a journal, especially with new shoes to track anything different. For example: I found that a particular pair of shoes just were no good for me as I sustained injury after injury until I switched to a different shoe. I am currently using altras and sauconys. I take time slowly getting them ready for distance running (increasing mileage by 1/2 hr at a time or a few miles at a time). Good luck and keep us informed of your progress.

Thanks, that’s a really good idea. And reassuring to know it’s not just me! Will persist and keep a diary as you suggest, and have a chat with my Physio. Fingers crossed it wasn’t a waste of £130!
