Anyone done this on a treadmill? Done week 1 on it as I haven't plucked up the courage to face the public yet!!

Treadmill
Lots of people do. I believe the advice is to set the incline to 1% in order to get a closer approximation to running outside. Personally, every time (there have been many) I've tried to learn to run, I've found treadmill way more difficult than running outside. I think it is because it forces me to go at a constant speed until I manually change it, whereas outside I most vary my pace from second to second depending on how I feel. I suppose the discipline of running at a constant pace is good for you, but I just can't cope with it. I guess it's totally subjective, some love it, some hate it, some don't mind either way.
I did, I didn’t run outside until about week 7. Found both equally challenging x
I've just started week 5 and done all mine so far on a treadmill. Like you I daren't go outside to run. However now my runs are getting longer, I find I'm getting bored just listening to music. I'm thinking of doing the next one outside instead of staring at a wall! But do whatever you need to keep going. I wouldn't have started it at all if I didn't have a treadmill at home.
Same for me..a friend offered me a treadmill she didn't use..basic model but fine. I would never have started without it.🏃♀️
Have you lost any weight?
Sorry I didn't see this question! Only about 5lb lost but I haven't been watching what I eat too carefully and had a week's holiday! However I'm going to be more careful now as I need to lose three stone! X
I am travelling by treadmill..just started week 7. My plan is to graduate then release myself into wild! I have no wilderness nearby in actual fact..nice park near house though. I tried running, outdoors, several times when I was young, it was a disaster, so I didn't have the confidence to start outside.
Best of luck...I doubt if I will run outdoors three times a week but hopefully will mix it up..
I am extremely slow .. have got slower each week! But have just snailed 25 minutes 🐢🤩🐢
I tried W3R3 outside and it was more difficult than the treadmill. My problem is my breathing then going into panic mode when I can't get my breath. I am trying to slow down but feel like its no faster than a power walk!!
