Does anyone do any of the runs on the treadmill
I've done 1
It's sooooo boring and I find it tricky to work out what speed to do!

I am currently doing a lot of my running on a treadmill....it is boring, but i just put something on Netflix and get stuck in.
Nothing beats going outside, but sometimes, circumstances don't allow, just make the most of situation.
Mine is in the garage
Could take a radio in I guess
Whatever makes it more bearable
I do both but find I’m predominantly at the gym at the moment. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, I think I prefer the treadmill until I’m in the open air then that wins. As previously said finding something to take your mind offof the stats helps, have you tried some music to loose yourself in?
I've done the first 3 weeks outside but circumstances dictated the treadmill last night. I quite liked the fact I could do a constant speed which helped me achieve the jump up to 5 mins of running. I listen to radio 2 confessions podcast as this makes me laugh and takes mind off the running. This made the treadmill bearable rather than tediously boring x
I set my speed at what feels comfortable. I had plenty in the tank at the end so will increase speed a little for tomorrow's run.
Happy running x
The pace you should run C25K, whether indoor or outdoor, is an easy conversational pace, at which you can speak clear ungasping sentences.
I did the whole C25K programme on the treadmill and have continued apart from one foray into the great beyond. Running outside, for me, is just not suitable. The treadmill is a mindset, I find, useful to control the speed, but yes can become boring. I listen to beat music but watch tv, usually old cop programmes and so concentrate on working out the plot without the words! Takes my mind off the running, and the time flies. “Who luvs ya, baby”!
