Made it to week 9

I did the first run of week 9 today. I can’t believe I can run for 30 minutes. I really never thought I was capable of this. I remember my first run on week 1 when my thighs were on fire at the end but I can now run for 30 minutes without the aches and pains. I was so worried that my knee would hold up but so far it has. My friends husband died from a very aggressive form of cancer recently and I want to be able to do a 5k charity run to raise money for the hospice that supported him so I will keep going till I can run 5k. 2 more runs and I graduate!!

Well done, keep going. I finished my final one today. I can’t say the 30 minutes is getting any easier, but it was hotter than anticipated this morning. I’m so chuffed to have made it to the end. My daughters don’t know, I’ve got to the point where I don’t know when I’m going to tell them 😂xx
