Iโve just been out on my first post-graduation run and decided to be brave and ditch the app. It felt really strange not to have Sarah Millican telling me how well I was doing โpetโ. It was liberating in a way though and I feel like a grown up!! Iโll be tying my own shoelaces next!
Enjoy your weekend running for those of you heading out over the next few days xx

It was good, although Iโll need to watch my pace I think- according to Strava I was much faster than W9R3 so just want to be careful I donโt do too much too soon and undo all the hard work.
We were 4 but last last week ๐๐๐but I'm very sure the final 4 were the marshalls as there was no one behind us only marshalls ๐they just tried to let us feel good for not coming last ๐๐๐
Congratulations on graduating and running your first consideration, should that not be consolidation run, feels good, I am still on week 8, I run the second 28 minute run tomorrow. Yes, you should do your park run tomorrow with your son, I am sure both of you will enjoy that.
Just come back from R2 of week 8, it went brilliant, my app told me that I had ran it in 8 seconds, (jet propelled) and I used 8 calories, of course that was rubbish, I deleted it from my phone and have installed another app for my third week run 3 28 minutes on Monday.
Ive graduated today, and Sarah has been my guide throughout too. Almost tempted to have another go at 30 mins with another โtrainerโ, just to see how supportive they are!
Great post Beth, that made me laugh... how are the shoelaces coming along?
Yeah, I ended my 8-week relationship with Jo Whiley last week, and now only have the boring Strava bloke with me on runs. Heโs not very encouraging though, he just pipes up every now and again to tell me Iโve done another km, and exactly how slow Iโm running!
