I decided not to use the app as a comfort blanket. I went out slightly earlier to avoid the heat. I think all the runners in my area had a similar idea...

It was a nice run bit strange with no voice coach in my ear but I knew my route. It was a strange feeling once I finished too. I'm sure I'll get used to it .

Still running though and that was my goal

Well done! I can’t tell how you felt about the run. Did you enjoy it?

Thank you ,Oh most definitely enjoyed it. . I love running now that I've learned how to. My next brain hurdle is , does it matter if I only run 4 k some days. . It's a funny old world xx

Answer: only if it matters to you. Best thing is three weeks of 3x 30 minutes and not worry about anything else.

It's kind of weird not having someone in your ear, right? A bit scary but also liberating. It took me a while to get used to being "off programme", tho I'd stopped using the app from the end of W6 when the longer runs started.

Now I'm absolutely loving it tho. I'm not a slave to the time any more, I can do other things, work on different things. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I promise!! :-)
