W2R1 Tried to follow Laura's suggested breathing rate & discovered I'm breathing twice as fast as that! I'm a bit asthmatic & an old lady so maybe it's no surprise. Should I ignore the breathing target? Anyone else had this issue? At least I managed the 90 sec jogs (and ran for the bus a couple of hours later!)

Most of the advice given by Laura is great!

The breathing advice ; not so much! Just make sure you breathe and you will be fine

This was my biggest struggle. Slow down if you struggling to breath and your body will regulate itself. I couldn't breathe running 1.30 min and today done 25 min all from just slowing down

I ignored that bit about the breathing. It seemed well off the mark.

I couldn’t do Laura’s breathing technique - still can’t- but it hasn’t stopped me running. I just try not to overthink the breathing and it just sort of happens.

my dad told me to focus on the exhale and letting the inhale take care of itself. So I try to breathe out for the same length of time (without actually counting) each time and it gives me some sense of control over my breathing. I tried Laura's advice and ended up gasping - not sure how good it is. sticking to my dad's method for now :D
