I have just finished this, I cannot believe after five weeks I ran for 20 minutes. Yes I was slow, yes my legs hurt, yes I now have a soft ache everywhere but I did it!!!!

Well done, that's a real milestone, W5R3 I think. it kind-of sums up the journey so far, and shows you just how far you've come. Slow is good, and actually a little leg hurting is probably a sign that you pushed a little, probably also a good thing.
I have personally grown to love that soft ache you mention, and I've started to recognise that as a sign of a good run. Anything more than that, you may have an done yourself an injury, but as long as the ache passes reasonably quickly, I'd see that as a sign of a good run
All the best for the rest of the journey. Just remember don't get over-excited in week 6 and go too fast and struggle, as many C25Kers do

Thanks for the kind words 316neil. Yes I have come to like the soft ache you get after, it reminds me I have done it. It goes after 24 hours or so but still 😀.
On next week, I tried to really pace myself on the 20 min run and need to make sure I don’t go all out on the shorter stints next week!
