Hello! Just started couch to 5k tonight and already I feel good! I’m training to take part in The Wolf Run in September with my dad and my partner. I have taken part before but due to injury I didn’t complete it totally gutted so want to give it another go but need to get myself to a good fitness standard! I’ve recently lost 3 stone with the help of slimming world and I’m also a dance teacher I just want to show people I can do it

Sure you can, you have already shown you can tackle something difficult and see it through to the end with your slimming world success. This will be a walk in the park, (interspersed with some running in the park 😉) just focus on the long game, you want to complete the Wolf Run, not win the Wolf Run (who knows eh?🙂) so just stay nice and steady through the programme. It works and you have plenty of time. You don’t want to risk injuring yourself again by pushing to hard. Don’t forget the forum motto “just slow down a bit” and you’ll be fine.

(Note: that might not actually be the forum motto, and if it is, maybe someone should come up with a better one🙂)

Good on you for losing the 3 stone Kate, well done! And don’t give up, just try and try again if needed. 🍀
