That's me then. Two days ago I was soaring completed week 5 on a total high. Week 6 run 1 nearly killed me. I know it's a bit hot and I don't normally run at this time of day but that was sooooooo hard for me. Note to self "don't take this for granted"

W6R1 and R2 are hard work. And we all bound into them full of confidence from W5R3. You just need to respect them by slowing down, as Kar43 says.

Enjoy R2. You’ll love R3 and that sets the pace for all of W7!

Aha. Exactly the same happened to me. I was on a high for days after W5R3. Came back to earth with a bump. Luckily the wonderful people on this forum had warned me about W6 and forewarned is fore-armed as they say. Still brought me back to earth rather quickly though. It does get better. W6 is tough so well done for getting through R1.

One twenty minute run does not a runner make........

Well done, it is all progress.

We all need reminding not to take things for granted every once in a while BUT YOU DID IT! So be happy and proud. Now you know you can do it. I find it just feels weird if I run at a different time of day.

Keep us posted on how your next run goes.
