W6R2.... in the bag! Feeling good. Brain chemistry? πŸ€”

β€’15 Replies

I've done it πŸ˜† ... my last staggered run before it all shifts into long runs and changes forever. As per all the discussions lately, I took it REALLY slowly when I needed to and listened to my body. I'll be doing W6R3 on Sunday. Bit nervous but... "deep breath"... I'm determined to ace my first 25min run in the Finnish countryside. Easy does it! Thank you all so much for the gorgeous messages. 😊

Also, I've been reading the C25K FAQ and am really intrigued about what IannodaTruffe says about running changing your brain chemistry. Does anyone have more Intel on this?

Excellent stuff! Very well done! I salute you!

If you want to learn about a change in brain chemistry just go back through sallenson posts. He’s a one man clinical trial, right there! πŸ˜‚

Onwards and upwards to the long runs! Good luck. Running in Finnish countryside sounds idyllic. Will look forward to the pics!

I did not know about these digest.bps.org.uk/2017/04/1... - but I thought additionally there was something showing that you get more serotonin receptors in your brain? Might be exercise in general? Will keep looking! Interesting!
