1st run after holiday

Despite taking my trainers with me on holiday and having every intention of running at least 3 times in the 2 weeks, it simply didn't happen.

Just before I went I completed week 5 and the 20 min run.

2 weeks of far too much good living and unhealthy lifestyle I was dreading getting back to it, but I decided to drop back to week 5 Run 1 to see how I got on, telling myself it was more important to try something rather than nothing. So glad I did. It was tough. My whole body worked much harder, but by run 3 I was getting back into it.

Going to continue from here I think rather than start week 6 as my heart worked hard today.

I can't believe I even put the trainers on again! That's where I've failed with exercise programmes in the past: having a break and fearing starting again. Today I've accomplished more than ever before in that respect and I'm so pleased with myself.
