Go slowly. And prepare to enjoy it.
Hi well done on joining in the running fun 😉
As they all say on here "slow & steady" enjoy your journey 😊
You can do this, most of us think we can't but we are doing it week by week we go further 😊
Hi, I’m new too and have tried running several times before and never mastered it. I’ve just completed week 2. I was struggling last run with a pain in my chest and sought advice. This was to slow down even if I thought I was really slow anyway. I slowed it down this afternoon and hey, no pains! This is a useful chat site, everyone is really helpful, they will help to keep you motivated. Good luck!
Hi and welcome! I hope that you will love C25K. I do and I certainly was no runner 4 weeks ago when I started. My tip would be to stick to the rest days even if you may feel like going out again the next day. They are so important for your body to recover and to gradually get used to the impact on joints etc. Enjoy the run! X

Enjoy your journey.
Go slow. And of you need to, go slower. The programme really works!
Well done for starting c25k. We have all started where you are today , and if you follow the programme and the advice on this forum you will be a runner. It’s brilliant. 🏃♂️🏃♀️👍
Hello and welcome. I'd say much of the same that others have said.
Drink plenty water from now on. Even on rest days to keep your body dehydrated.
Find a safe place to run and figure out what days and times are best for you.
Wear sensible clothing and clothing (obviously).
Do not start off running like a 747 jet plane on take off. Nice and slow, small steps, land lightly and breathe.
Be sure to stretch after your run. It really does help.
Be sure to take your rest days. Very important as your body needs that time to recover and heal itself.
Keep us updated and look out for others on here who have great advice and experience. Reading other people's posts allows you to realise that you're not the only one.
Good luck and I hope to see you posting soon.
