Well I know it’s still 23 degrees and humid but I totally sucked. I already had to walk after 5mins!! And then 2 more brief walking breaks. I’m so upset. I completed the other 2 runs, slowly, but did them. Now should I repeat the whole week? 😭

No, no! Don’t be so hard on yourself! Look at how far you’ve come. Heat and humidity really take it out of you. The next time out, you will nail this!

Aww thank you. I’m literally crying. I know stupid but really thought I’d do better. Maybe I should repeat the whole week?

Get well hydrated, rest up, and repeat the run. Hopefully, you can find a time of day that is cooler and less humid.

Thank you. Maybe best if I rest tomorrow and drink lots of water and try again

Just thought maybe I’m not ready and need to do the other 2 prep runs again. Hmm. I’ll try r3 again.and lots of Positive thinking. 😊

It was the heat! I admire you for even trying!! I'm doing wk 8 run 3 in the morning. There is no way I would attempt to run in 23 degrees!!

Hope so. Well I’m determined, or stubborn! I so wanted to do it because I did r2 on Thursday and didn’t want to have more than 2 rest days in between 😔 maybe I better rest tomorrow and try again on Tuesday

Don't try again tomorrow. At least one rest day is the rule. Don't break It! I take two rest days if I need to. Good luck!!!!

i used to sometimes take 4 or 5 rest days so don't feel bad! X

Aww no dont get upset ..You will do w6r3 next time ..Do it when its cooler first thing or at night ...The heat kills you ...Well done thus far you will do it 😊😊

The heat is a total bummer. I did my week 8 run 3 today .... just. Under the trees I really enjoyed it but the open cliff path in the sun was hideous Just rest fir a day and drink plenty and the do the run again in a cooler part if the day. This is the UK so it will undoubtedly be cooler and wet within 24 hours. You can do it. Good luck

Thank you. It’s just disheartening when I managed the w5r3, the 20mins one fine and then this happens. Arghhh.

Don’t be sad everyone has a horrible run every now and then. If this run was the only one you didn’t complete then this is the one to do again. The hot weather and humidity does make a difference in my opinion. You should still have your rest day tomorrow and then go and nail that W6R3 just go really slowly 🐌🐌 I just plod along and think about what I need at the shops, what everyone is going to have for dinner anything apart from running 🤣🤣 ... you can do it 😊😊

Aww thank you. I repeated one run in an earlier week once and then I did it. Hopefully it was just the humidity and maybe I was a bit dehydrated. I’ll try again on Tuesday. Thank you 😊

Rehydrate and choose a cooler time for for your run. You will nail it! No need to repeat any other runs- just the one you had a blip on. You have achieved so much- this small slip up does not define your ability!
