For the first time doing C25K, I found this one hard going. But I knew how cross I would be with myself if I stopped - so it was not an option. My pace for this 25 minute run was slightly faster than last week's 20 minute run, so all good I suppose. I hope week 7's 3 25 minute runs will consolidate my progress, and I think I will stop doing laps of the park, which is getting boring!

Well done, yes, you're moving into the toughest part now! Distraction with good music or interesting routes really helps!

Keep it up, you're doing great! 👍🏻😁

Thanks. Good tips on distraction as well. 👍 I have been using the podcasts, and now you say that, I think I will try switching to the app, and find a nice playlist on Spotify.

Good run for you today, your pace will slowly begin to get faster. 😉🏃

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3/25 minute runs, those three runs will consolidate your progress 😊

Thanks - yes this does seem like actual running. I think the 20 minute run at the end of Week 6 was exciting because of the novelty of it being the first longer run. It feels like the real work is starting now.

The hardest run is done, that was week1 run1. You're doing well. You could use your runs to explore new places now you are a runner 😀👍👏

25 minutes non stop that's brilliant. Try to keep your pace slow and steady as you move on in runs. I was like you I used a red ash running track up until wk6 then I got bored going round and round . So I just got out and ran on the pavement it's so much better. So enjoy your time planning new routes. Well done you 😊

Thanks buddy. Yes - something positive I took from today was that my pace was steady and almost the same as last week's 20 minute run. I am looking forward to varying my route - so much.

Your determination and drive will get you through to graduation!! 👍 Definitely find a new route for these longer runs... it so helps to mix things up a bit. The best part of this course lies ahead of you. You are a runner now! Great achievement!! 🌟🎈

This was the stage I needed to find new routes. It made a massive difference and I challenged myself to find scenic area to run. Almost there but dont try to go too fast too soon, it will come naturally

Thanks - next week I plan to switch to a route I love to walk - so hopefully that will keep me motivated / distracted!

You will be amazed how quickly you cover your favourite walk now you are running

🤣I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to that. For years I have been watching runners speed past me. Now it's my turn! 😊
