I did it, who'd of thought after all those doubt's and disbelief I would get this far...a whole 25 mins running, I'm definitely raising a glass to that tonight ๐at 10 mins I started to think I can't do another 15 and had to get a grip with myself and say over and over ive come this far, do not give up now...i knew i would be so mad at myself ๐then those last 3 mins were a struggle but dug deep and grinned and bearer it, the posts on here are brilliant they really help to keep you going and all the advise spurs you on, thank you everybody for helping me achieve something I never dreamed of ever doing ๐

well done you did it yesterday and not so bad, hard to imagine that a few short weeks back most of us were struggling with the minute runs of week one
It's onwards and upwards from here!
Well done to you too, I giggle at how much I moaned about doing 3 min runs and how much of a struggle it was...look at us now, I think we got this ๐
I really hope I can look back and giggle sometime...the thought of 3 mins fills me with horror!! 90 seconds is hard enough๐ฉ
Me too, it's a heck of a thing we've done and now Week 1 you are no longer my nightmare of redness, sweat and potential apathy. In fact I want the Mo Farah elastic band thing so I can catapult forward to W9. Perhaps we could club together to buy one? Brilliantly done mizz_happy and rolysmate .Week 7 we got you.
BTW Rolysmate was the seaside more inspirational for you this week?
it was just a bit yes, the truth is I went off piste from the training plan.
I selected a circular run from where I was staying, the first time round it took me 36.5 mins to run and the second time round just shy of 33 mins, it was 4.75k
off piste.... mmmm. old floss may have something to say about that. Well done sounds as though you're at W9 already
