Well I’ve done it. I cannot tell you how much I didn’t want to get out of bed this morning- my last run was on Tuesday and I felt I had lost my mojo. But I had a word with myself; if I didn’t get up today and run the last several weeks would have been wasted.
So I put my big girl pants on ( and my running gear so I didn’t shock the neighbours!) and got my final run of week 8 done. So chuffed and proud of myself.
I know the next three runs are only an extra two mins so I know I’ve just got to keep my head in the game. I really believe 90% of this challenge is mental strength and resilience.
So here goes guys.... into week nine in a couple of days.

Well done Jan. I’ve just done the same run. Still very hard- although truthfully it’s about the last five mins that are really tough so we’ve really come a long way. Roll on wk 9- good luck with your runs x
