Ran for 32 minutes yesterday slow and steady nothing really to report. I really need to have something to aim for so am deciding to up my duration in a couple of weeks time, but I am finding it hard without any routine or programme. Any advise please from those who have completed? Eventually I want to be able to start aiming for a 10K in the WinterX

While you’re consolidating your 30 minutes just try running for enjoyment. Maybe aim to do some new routes, or try running with new playlists. I also tried the C25k plus podcasts.

I know it’s good to have a goal to aim for but sometimes it’s just nice running for fun, and new places or routes can make that more interesting.

Can’t give you Yh advice Michele - but I can give some encouragement from the sidelines. Pulled my calf the week following my 1st postgrad run and have been out of action for 10 days now. Still not quite right and have only just begun to walk comfortably. I’ll be back though looking forward to hearing how you get on! X

Towards the end of C25K I started listening to podcasts especially Desert Island Discs. They are just the right length so I am going to keep using those to guage the time I need to run. There are lots of other podcasts that are 30-40 minutes so I think that’s perhaps a good way to consolidate before moving on.

I agree with Razouski.,

Today more than most I just set off knowing I was going to run for 2 hours.

No thoughts on distance and times.I am so slow I do not why I hassle myself anyway.

No tension just relaxed, sort of gliding effortlessly along in my own little world.

Just belief and enjoyment.🌟👏👏

You have loads of time and loads of options.

Pleased I took 10 weeks consolidation.👍 and maybe time I do not have in abundance.🙈😂😂

Move to ju-ju-‘s 10k plan. Book yourself onto some races. There are even virtual races to motivate yourself. Do the ParkRun- not only is it great fun, but you get an official time to target beating each week.
