Another parkrun, another 5k without any walking

I'm on holiday in Scotland (Isle of Bute) until next Saturday and actually arranged to stop overnight in Penrith (just short of half distance in terms of driving) just so I could run a parkrun in the morning before finishing the drive up here πŸ˜‚

Lovely flat course, kept a consistent (ish) pace the whole way which while still not exactly quick was exactly what I intended to do.

Now chilling out with a cider and company with friends πŸ‘πŸ»

I'm thinking parkrun tourism in cheap friendly b&bs then exploring the area with my camera is a decent way of using up the rest of my annual leave for the year.

You got me thinking something similar. Even just weekends - stay Friday and Saturday nights; travel from work Friday, run Saturday, go out Saturday night, slowly head back Sunday.

We have an old Talbot Motorhome, so this really sounds good to us. We are looking for park runs when we go away, so this can just be an extension of that.
