I did R1 of Wk 5 last night and it was good. I hadn't realised that it was 3 different runs and the last one OMG ! I haven't run any longer than 5 mins continuously. 20 mins for R 3 seems a huge jump. How did it go for people ?

I just this second got through the door having done W5R3 and am in shock I did it. It really is a mental hurdle rather than physical. I wanted so badly to stop, but I also wanted to tell my partner I’d run for twenty minutes, I couldn’t bear to tell everyone on here that I didn’t manage it, and I pictured my post baby tummy that makes me feel unconfident and worried about summer clothing.
Maybe everyone has their own version of these things that keeps them going?

You have run for sixteen minutes in each W4 session. Today you ran for 15 minutes. Next run will be 16 minutes. On top of all that you have brisk walked as well and in each case for longer total moving time than you will be asked to do in the final run of W5.
Relax, believe in yourself, trust the plan.
