As the title says, I did it! Hardest run yet for me, might have had something to do with an excess of alcohol last night though! Ok so I'm thinking I can manage run 2, but run 3 - 20 mins - how on earth is that going to happen? After 5 mins running I'm relieved to get to walking again. Does everyone feel like this about run 3?

Started week 5
Yes I think everyone looks at run3 and wonders how they are going to achieve 20 minutes non stop but it just happens you've done all the practice you need good luck you can do this π
Well done.

You can do this.
Hello again!
I've just finished this run this moring as well and yes, i also had a couple of glasses last night! And steak. And cheesecake. π³
Im planning on one rest day now and then I will do run 2 on Monday. I'm going to have another 2 rest days after that and drink so much water that there will be a hosepipe ban enforced in my local area. I don't know about you but once I zone out and settle into a comfortable pace I can keep going as long as I don't start thinking about how long left there is to run. That absolutely kills it for me. There are so many posts on here by people really doubting whether they could run a full 20 minutes and then surprising themselves that they can.... .......there's no reason that won't be us in a few days too! We've got this!! πͺπͺπͺ
Exactly the same days as I'm going to be running! I find if I concentrate on listening to my music and looking at scenery I tend to forget about the time. However, when I'm finding it harder - like the last 5 min run today - just focus on how long is left to run. Hope that makes sense!
I am feeling daunted by run 3 but also feel like 'bring it on!' - cos if I can do it then it's massive! If I can't I will persevere until I can. I was saying to my husband if I can run for 20 mins then I really will feel like I've achieved my goal. π€π€π€
No that all makes perfect sense as I feel the same.
I think I will be absolutely euphoric after completing run 3 as I honestly don't think i have ever run for that long in my life. Not even at school. My husband runs half marathons so doesn't understand how daunting it feels to face 20 minutes as a newbie. I think i might be celebrating alone!!
