Well done, Rosebud; I’m also asthmatic (and, thankfully, an ex smoker) and managed to complete C25k. Listen to your body and just do your best every time 😊

Have a look at my first ever post on here re asthma and all the really positive replies. Then keep going, slow down, relax and breathe deeply. I was completely breathless and wheezing in week one... Today I did my first parkrun, and didn't need my inhaler once. Might need to change my forum name soon!! 🤣

Not really, I only did week 5 run 3 on Thursday, then the parkrun today which I ran 2/3 of. I actually cried after the run today at the lack of wheezing as I've had asthma since childhood, including nasty attacks which needed an emergency doctor to the house. So go for it, the first 2 weeks are hard but it gets better.. oh and get some good running shoes if you go beyond week 4, they make the world of difference 😁 Hopefully 5 weeks from now you'll be feeling the difference as well x

I have a pair of sketchers because I have arthritis in toes. Have to be careful what I wear.

I had mild asthma and used my inhaler in first couple of weeks although I think the cold irritated me too. I’m now inhaler and asthma free, and have reached 10k.

Hopefully this will help your asthma too 👍🏽
