Hi all help please how can I stop cramp I'm really trying and I'm on week 2 run 2 but the cramp in my calf muscle is holding me back any suggestions please 😕

Hydration. Are you hydrated ALL the time, not just before a run? During the heat this is more important than usual, although it is important everyday. If you are well hydrated (plain water is good) and you sweat/perspire/glow😄 a lot, and you have no contraindications, add a bit of salt to your diet, even a bit in your hand and lick, as you could be low due to earlier sentence.

If you think this may be a cause search for Realfoodieclub she has a post on hydration in summer weather. However, if slow running, stretching out the cramp and the above don't help see your GP or health professional.

Hydration is the most likely cause. You should be drinking a minimum of 2.5 to 3 litres per day, as explained in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
