Week 3 run 2.... still here

So week 3 run 2. For you aficionados you will see I am a day late with this. That was due to an appointment yesterday that i couldn't move.

However I mention that because it leads to a question. Does an extra days rest damage progress? The reason I ask is that for the first 90 second run I was sure someone had stolen my small stubby little legs (which i am extremley fond of) and replaced them with equally small and stubby concrete posts. Godamn that run was hard.

So much so I was dreading the first 3 min run. That 3 mins must have been an ultra slow running world record and I'm now officially declaring I can walk faster than I can run.

I did finish today but it was very stuttered if that makes sense, and whilst I should be happy that's in the bag, overall I just feel deflated.

Oh well tomorrow is another day ( and a rest one at that).

Stand by for another diatribe Friday. Thanks for listening (well reading)...

I too have completed w3r2 this morning and were as I feel it wasn't too bad for me that is, I have felt very tired for the rest of the day.

Really liked your post.

I will be running 6.15am Friday morning before work. Hopefully I won't feel so tired.

Keep it up its doing us good. At least that's what they say.

Ah - don't feel deflated- look how far you have come - bet you didn't imagine that in W1. Remember the C25K mantra - slow & steady. We all have good runs & not so good runs. Next one & you will absolutely smash it. You're doing great. Good luck & keep us posted.
