Just completed W4R2. Generally an early morning jogger. Using app to avoid injury. Have had two previous attempts without app and without success (calf and hip strains) - put me back about 2 months! This app is a superb way to build up gradually. 9 weeks isn’t a long time. W4 certainly ups the effort but today certainly felt better than the last run. Interested in hearing from anyone at same stage. Weather seems to make a big difference now that the frosty mornings and snow have gone !! ☀️☀️👍👌☀️☀️😅

Welcome, F1ipperation ! Yes, the app is great isn't it? I think the programme is a fantastic way to build up your running with minimum risk of injury. And yes, the weather is so much better. I ran this morning too, without being soaked, frozen, bogged down in mud, or blown away lol

Weeks 4 and 5 I seem to recall were good weeks for me, Week 6 too actually. It's that wonderful middle stage of the program when you can see you've moved on from really short intervals to something more substantial, and if you've come this far, then you're doing really well.

Just keep doing what you're doing, we'll be right with you :)

Key thing for me so far (wrapping up W4) is that no week is easy. We keep being pushed beyond our mental comfort zone. But im trusting the programme and the support on here is just epic. Find some virtual chums on here. We're all winners and all in it together!

Hi! I just completed wk4r1 today and was absolutely chuffed to bits! Didn’t think I could do it as it’s been 10+ years since I ran with any real intent but this app really keeps me motivated. Was tired at the end tho but feel better for it now.
