W4R1 done

Just completed my first run for week 4 and I'm so pleased that I actually did it. All my aches (calves, ankles and feet) have gone. It felt great today. I'm sure that the stretching exercises that I've been doing daily have helped enormously and I'm going to keep doing them to strengthen my calves and ankles. Looking forward to run 2 now.

Well done. I'm at the same stage as u, just finished r1 of wk4. Had been so nervous at work all day lol but I feel great. What stretches have u been doing if you don't mind me asking as my calves are really stiff x

I've been doing stretching exercise that I found on here for Plantar Faciitis because I thought that was what was wrong with me. I couldn't find the link that I used but these are the same exercises. oxfordhealth.nhs.uk/podiatr... . I found the stair stretches the best for my calves.

Well done! I wish there was a reminder to stretch after each podcast because on the odd occasion that I forget I really suffer the next day!! 😬
