I did this C25K

β€’10 Replies

Back in January I started my journey,

My first post was .....am I to old to do this ?

I had a goal which was to complete this C25K before I turned 58

I had 14days to do my last run ... It never happened

In all it took me 16weeks to complete this 9week program

I started running in warm climate came home ran in the snow

There were days I wouldn't go running due to the weather,

My best ever run was wk5 ... 20 minutes of none stop running πŸ‘πŸ»

Yesterday came a close second I hadn't run for 20 +something days but I did it

Slow and steady πŸ˜‰ I was so proud of myself

I need to set myself another goal and hopefully complete it

Park Run maybe ?

So is there anyone out there who goes to the park runs in York area and wouldn't mind a granny tagging along ? Please message me

Just want to say

The support on here is amazing,

Thank you to everyone that was so kind to me when I was feeling down after my school friend passed away suddenly,

To everyone who has doubts about the C25K you can do this πŸ‘πŸ»

I can run for 30 minutes how good am I

Thanks Guys 😘

Congratulations! I too started C25k in January, and I’m up to w7r2. Working full time, long commutes, family life mean that I struggle to get out 3 times a week, but I’m still managing to progress with up to a week between runs. Enjoy your first parkrun!
