Week one done , but .....

Week one done 👍 . I have to say I havnt been out of breath yet but my legs do feel heavy on the last couple of 60 sec runs and my groin aches 😱. It’s fine after stretching but I’m worried it might lead to problems later on in the program. Am I doing anything wrong?. Is there anything I can do to minimise injury’s to this weak spot?

The groin ache is probably karma because you haven’t been out of breath yet...;-) sorry I don’t know much about aches and pains except I seem to have plenty after all my runs. Much more experienced people on here talk about the right shoes helping a lot to avoid this strains so perhaps a gait analysis and some good fitting trainers might help. Good luck with the rest of the plan!

I was the same after week one. I'm a 17 stone overweight bloke and for me it got better after a couple of weeks, I'm now well into week six. Stretching before going out to run seems to help me.
