Wk6R3 done. Stiff knee after rest.

Honestly, was really scared going into today's run. Wk6R2 2nd run was a bit difficult, so was not sure I would be able to do this. However, I was able to complete the run with relative ease. Was worried, so ran really slow. I suppose there might have been people walking faster :-).

Finally Wk6R3 done.

Strangely, I am having stiff knee after a prolonged(more than 20 minutes) period of rest(sitting, sleeping). Once I start moving, it goes away. I have no pain while running. This has been going on for 2 weeks and seems counter to what others have posted on the forum.

Plan to visit an ortho this week. Praying that I can continue running.

Yes. Like so many others on this forum, I am amazed by my progress. Even more unbelievable is the fact that I actually enjoy it. I am not really into exercise, but I look forward to my 3 running days a week. Thanks to the NHS for creating this, and thanks to the wonderful folks here.

I want it (30 minute runs) to be a part of my exercise routine. Just cant bear to have an injury now and not be able to run.

Well done! Do you stretch after a run? I always find that and trying to keep moving after a run works well.

Honestly, no.

Oldfloss has suggested some exercises, let me try that.

Up your rest day exercise as the runs get longer... and try these out for size :)
