Wk6 - interesting..

After (twice) proudly running the 20 minutes of W5R5, I’ve struggled a bit with the intermittent running of W6Rs1and2. Why is that, I wonder? Could it be reverse psychology to get us desperate to get on to the longer unbroken runs, like a sort of physical Holy Grail to aim at along the way?

W6R1 is your longest workout up to that point. Everybody concentrates on the running intervals and dismisses the brisk walking, which demands almost as much energy expenditure as a brisk walk. W6R2 is your second longest.

Me too was so chuffed to have done 20 mins W5, not so keen on this intermittent running again but assume their is a good reason so will just go with it. R3 is 25 mins!!
