Legs hurting after week 1!

During my W1R3 my legs starting hurting more than usual, 2 days later they are still hurting, kind of around and behind my knee area.

I don’t feel I will be ready to start W2 until they are better, I’m limping just walking up the stairs!

Anyone else suffered like this? I know it’s probably normal just want to get back on it but obviously don’t want to damage any more!

It is quite normal.

if you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it mentions stretches that can help ease many pains, along with many other topics.

Do all you can to reduce impact. Slow down, avoid heelstrike, keep footfall under the body, run on grass or treadmill, wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.

You will get over this.

They do suffer.. aches and pains and your body saying.." What the heck is going on"

Check out the advice and the link from IannodaTruffe .. he is right... it will pass.

Warm up well, stretch after every run and take it gently:) Some links for you :)

I found that one hard, but I found that lovely hot bath to relax the leg muscles worked wonders. Don't forget the bubbles😁
