With a mid week MH related blip I've just completed W2 run 3.
Somehow about halfway through something clicked and it wasn't so much of an effort, and despite not really eating much all day, and feeling a bit fed up when I went out, I found some energy from somewhere and I felt like I could just keep going, so instead of the warm down walk, I kept running.
I really enjoyed the feeling. I enjoyed being outside and moving and feeling the earth under me, things growing out of it and around me, blossom blooming on the trees, and pushing myself forward through it all.
I like the feeling of my legs being useful, capable, and I love that very slowly, like something budding, I can feel myself getting a little stronger, more able to run for longer, that I can keep myself going through it all that tiny bit more.
Seeing and feeling that small change makes me wonder what it could bloom into, which inspires me to push a little harder next time.

That is a serious accomplishment, without even considering the blip and the keeping on running!
Your post makes for inspirational reading. I think that taking on this programme as the seasons move from winter, through spring into summer is probably the best time for you. As you suggested the growth you see could be seen as allegorical for your own.
Loved reading your post it was very inspiring I have just completed week 1 and feel apprehensive about week 2 as i felt week 1 pushed me ,but am undecided whether to repeat the week or give week 2 a go .
Wow! Still struggling but have finished week 2 and my group and I doing week 3 run 1 tomorrow.. we are so lucky to have a volunteer coach from the local running club training and motivating us... you sound really motivated all on your own.. keep it up!!
