Usually run along the seafront but thought I'd try something different so ran up the main road instead. On the way back I had to stop at the roundabout to cross the road and a bloke in a car shouted "for God's sake keep up". Not in an amusing way either - really quite aggro! I think he thought I wouldn't hear because I had headphones in. He's bloody lucky I was on the other side of the road - bit premenstrual!!
Just made me wonder why on earth someone would feel the need to do that?

Just laugh at the idiots or turn the music up! You’re doing great to get through W4R3, I did W4R1 yesterday and the second 5 min run nearly killed me but felt great at the end. Just be proud you’re out doing it and not sat behind the wheel of a car being ignorant. 😃
Thanks! I did think to myself I'm a 43 year old woman training for the Territorial Army what are you doing with your life mate but as mrrun says best not to engage!
So a bloke, sat in a car, shouts at you to keep up!! Just think, he was the one sat in the car, you were the one out running, doing physical exercise! He's probably jealous.
Can be quite upsetting, and I really can't fathom why anyone would be like this unprovoked. I have found feeling sorry for idiots like this can help me cope - how horrible to be them! "Imagine being such a person, must be awful, so glad I am me" kind of thoughts. And feel good you are running while they are stuck in a car, probably suffering from road rage! 😄
