This is my first post. I’ve just finished w3r1 and can’t believe I was able to run (if you can call it that) for 3 minutes.

Is 4 runs a week ok? Say Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and then 3 the following week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). I’m still young (22) but unfit due to being overweight

I'm doing the same -'running' every other day and so far so good! It didn't feel right having 2 days off in a row, I felt I would lose the small amount of progress I've made. I've just done week 4 run 1,amazed I could run for 5 minutes 🎉

I agree! After one days rest my body is telling me to get out and get moving!

Good luck on your journey!

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started with running.

If you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it tells you that C25K weeks do not have to coincide with calendar weeks, but rest days from running are sacresanct.

Enjoy your journey.
