On Monday did run 2 of week 4 and was feeling a bit downbeat as didn’t feel it went as well as my first run of week 4.
But Wednesday when I was planning to finish week 4 my back went which I do occasionally suffer from. It’s not as severe as it could be but still walking a bit like a hunched up Frankenstein. So just wondering what is the best thing to do when I am able to run which I hope will be Sunday(ish) do I push ahead and go for run 3 of week 4 or should I build up again. Gutted this has interrupted the programme 😟

I would go with W4R3 but take it nice and slow. Having just a couple of extra rest days shouldnt put you back. And your back will soon let you know if it is happy or not.
Just make sure you are ok. Better the extra rest days than injuring yourself for a longer period. The runs will still be there.
Thank you, I will do as you suggest and go for it and who knows maybe it’ll be my best run yet with extra rest days!
Never thought after just four weeks I would be worrying about a delayed run but think I may have the bug for this running lark a little bit already 😉👍🏻
