I’ve learnt a lot over the first few weeks and was pleased to get W4R1 under the belt. I had got into a nice routine but this week shook things up and I had to fit in two of my runs at 930 in the evening and also in the rain. In the past I would probably have just said oh I’ll have a week off so I was pleased to keep with it. I am definitely a creature of habit and I like a pattern.

The second thing I have learnt is that Laura and Sarah have different timers 😅Don’t ask me why but I have been playing the podcast and app simultaneously and they don’t keep in step - particularly in week 3. It gave me a distraction though wondering who was going to give me the next instruction first.

The final thing I have learnt is that I like the first run of the week (I guess a sense of achievement), struggle with the middle one and then the final one is okay- as I start to look forward to the following week.

How weird it’s exactly the same for me . I like the 1st run of the week & struggle with the 2 nd & 3 rd ok . I wonder what’s behind this ? . I’m on wk 4 run 2 today so it will be an effort .

Odd isn’t it, probably the body getting used to the longer distances and a bit psychological too. Best of luck today- I’m sure you’ll smash it.

This is exactly the same for me ! I always struggle with run 2 and think I'm not going to get through the week but then find run 3 easier...how strange 😊😊
