W5r3 feeling Epic!!!!!

Did the scary one this morning from 8 mins to 20! I haven’t run since I was 12 years old and that was down a hill in Cornwall being chased by an angry dog, for anyone about to do this run it was surprisingly good and not the slog I was expecting. The feeling afterwards is so good , I did take it nice and slow which helps 😊

Well done! I should imagine that after 20 minutes without a stop you feel really great! Congratulations! I hope to complete W5 R3 on Saturday, or perhaps tomorrow. Did you have one or two rest days between R2 and R3?

Whichever you choose I hope all goes well. I'm going for 2 rest days so W5R3 will be on Saturday. Too much on am so it will have to be pm. Look forward to reading about how it went. Happy running to you.

Well done on getting that milestone run under your belt.

W6R1 is a tricky one that catches some people out, so take it easy.

Keep running, keep smiling.

the 20 Minute Mental Challenge is complete. It was never a challenge for the body as it knew all along it could do it. Now celebrate but dont get all excited and hit the W6 banana skin!

Just keep it nice and slow.

Well done. I did that one too this morning for the 1st time. The last 5 minutes was hard, especially given that I misjudged my route and did it uphill, for goodness' sake. Felt great from about half an hour afterwards. May repeat it in the morning before a day's rest and moving on to R1 of Wk6 on Sunday. That 5k/30 Minutes of Running target creeps ever nearer....
