Jog or run?

Does it matter if you only Jog? I have completed week 1 to 4 jogging only on treadmill at the gym, decided to do week 5 at the park, found I got more out of breath, but think I was jogging too fast, so slowed down, on 2nd session. I was ok after that. I am really enjoying this program, I have never jogged before (do a lot of walking) I am 57, so it just goes to show you are never too old.

There really is no difference between jogging and running. Or if there is then everyone here is jogging. There are some people who get really sniffy about the suggestion that they are jogging, but getting hung up on semantics is not ging to get anyone fitter.

Run or jog at whatever pace is sustainable and comfortable for you. The most common mistake new runners make is running too fast.

My running is jogging, jogging is running as I am not walking haha slow and steady through the weeks, as slow as you like, it is still a run, good luck
