It's a family affair...!

Started week 1 today with my 12 and 13 year old. They loved it, I found it hard!! (How is running for 60 secs so hard?!!) Motivation is my son's desire to do the Supernova run in October at the Olympic stadium...dont want to let him down! 😁

You might be going too fast? Slow down a bit and see if that is a bit more comfortable. Good luck on your next run :)

Thank you! I think, to be honest, I'm just really unfit!! 😆

I dunno, I was totally unfit when I started too and everytime I said a run was tiring some more wordly-wise person on this forum said it was probably because I was going too fast. So jog slow, and if you feel like it’s very difficult, go even slower. I’ve had walkers pass me jogging, that’s how slow I go!

That's actually reassuring, thank you! I'm 39 and yesterday at the end of the session, felt about 89! I'll try more slowly tomorrow. 😊

Well then today you should finish feeling like a 39 year old, or 40 at a push, but that’s it! Remember it’s not a sprint. Find a pace that you can maintain for all of the runs in the session. :)

Same here... I am huffing and puffing my way through week 2 and my 13 year old son just breezes through then says "mum, can I just skip to week 9?". Me: "No you can't, we are doing this together and I need you cheering me on!!" 🤣🤣
