I’ve finished w1 and yesterday’s run I found the easiest of the lot. But I’m filled with a huge amount of dread for the increase. Is it as bad as I think it’s going to be?

No it is not. You have already seen that workouts get easier and each run prepares you for the next one........each week prepares you for the next one.

Please read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is full of tips and you might also find this post helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do it! The walking intervals are longer to help you recover. 🤗

Each new week is a challenge, but you somehow find yourself stepping up to it. I think the best thing is to go in the week with no expectations of how it is going to be... i think you'll be positively surprised. I found the second week good. It was challenging but it felt like a natural progression and i noticed lots of positive changes in myself and my ability. Stick with it and cross the bridge when you come to it xx

I’ve just done w2r1 again. Last week I really struggled and didn’t complete it once. Yesterday I did it successfully for the first time so feeling good. I didn’t see the point in pushing to start w3 when I couldn’t even do w2. So we’ll see how it goes! How’s it going for you? X
