I've just ran 5k using the route I started out using. It is away from the public and so helped me when I was very self conscious about being beetroot red after a 90 second jog! (I'm still beetroot red after any run now though so I just accept it lol.) It was quite emotional as I was running the home stretch of my 5k to think that when I first started I couldn't run the whole of the path I was I running on and now it's part of my 5k! It's an emotional journey sometimes this becoming a runner but I am so pleased I did it. I started running to get fit and grieve my friend and I now run because I can but also because I must! Those of you at the beginning, stick with it, I genuinely couldn't run past 60 seconds when I started.
Now I just need to get used to the heat! One day I won't overheat and be beetroot red! 🤣😂😂🏃♀️😍😊

I'm not sure this is any help, but I used to be quite fit and always got beetroot red. I think for me it's unavoidable! If I blush badly (like during public speaking) people ask me if I'm alright as I look like I'm about to keel over, so I guess it's just part of the way my body works.
